How to Add an Instagram Feed

Adding an Instagram feed can be a great addition to your Wordpress website as a way to increase your traffic and increase engagement. It can also help you encourage your site visitors to follow you on Instagram.

Integrating with Elementor​

Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed Plugin​

Integrating the Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin is very straight forward as it does not require any additional configuration to integrate with Elementor.

To add a feed to Elementor:

  • Open the template file you want to add the feed into.
  • Add an Instagram Feed Elementor widget from Elementor's widget list.
  • The Smash Balloon Instagram plugin will display a dropdown to select the Instagram feed you'd like to embed.
  • Select the feed, the feed will display.

WPZOOM Social Feed Widget & Block​

Integrating the WPZOOM Social Feed & Block with an Elementor template can be done by using their shortcode:

  • Navigate to the Instagram Widget menu item in the admin dashboard.
  • Click on the feed's title in the list of feeds.
  • Click on the Embed tab.
  • Find the shortcode in the page, and copy it.
  • Open the Elementor template you'd like to display the feed into.
  • Add a Shortcode Elementor widget to the page.
  • Paste the shortcode into the widget to display the feed.
